WHAT'S ON

The Australiana Research Collection holds many treasures, including books relating to Australia’s maritime history. The display features Matthew Flinders’ diaries (1814) of his journey charting the Australian coastline. Facsimiles include William Bligh’s notebook and accounts by explorers Jean La Perouse and Jacob Le Maire of their Australian expeditions.

Weaving a New Life’ is an exhibition curated by Sara Lindsay of tapestries by Cha Mai Oo, Mu Naw Poe, Paw Gay Poe and Shuklay Tahpo, from the Karen community of Australia.
