In his recent book, ‘My Grandfather’s Clock’, Professor Graeme Davison AO traces the history of his family through an heirloom, a 200-year-old clock. In this talk, he introduces some of the other clocks he has known as a historian and reflects on the significance of time telling in history, including the history of the Victorian goldrushes. Professor Graeme Davison AO is Emeritus Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor of History at Monash University.
