Join us on Eureka Sunday to celebrate the Spirit of Eureka, with a special community day marking the 172nd anniversary of the Eureka Stockade.
This family fun day features free face painting and a special Eureka-themed storytime. Ballarat Aquatic and Leisure Centre will join us to present balance play activities.
This celebration has something for the whole family to enjoy. The Eureka Aquatic Centre will also hold its annual Eureka Pool Party nearby, with free entry from 8am to 6pm.
Flag Talk
10am, 11am & 12pm
Get up close to the Eureka Flag, learn about its intriguing origins, and hear stories about
its design, fabrication and authentication.
Balance Play With Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre (BALC)
10am-2pm
Roll, bounce and balance at this special pop-up session with the BALC gymnastics team. Suggested ages 1 to 5 years.
Facepainting
10am–2pm
Come and see the team from Fab2see Faces to add some colour and fun to your day with free face painting for kids.
Storytime
11.40am and 12.30pm
Join Eureka Centre’s Education team as they celebrate friendship, courage and the power of
helping others. Suggested ages 4 to 8 years.
